Dragonistics

Dragonistics Data Cards 240 mini-card deck, with a set of 56 Attribute cards

$55.00

Academics Choice Mind Spring AwardYour students will enjoy learning statistics with Dragonistics Cards. This pack has 240 Dragonistics Data Cards, each representing a unique dragon and containing multivariate data about that dragon. Your students can explore statistical concepts and gain understanding by sorting and organising the cards. They can directly create tables and graphs with the cards, allowing them to draw meaningful conclusions.

The data is designed to produce results similar to real datasets allowing students to practice using the statistical enquiry process without the time spent collecting data every time. The dataset is rich, allowing for multiple lessons.

The cards are 44x64mm, beautifully designed and with a professional finish. This pack contains 240 cards, which is enough for a whole class. It also contains a set of 56 Attributes Cards, which saves you $4 compared with purchasing the Dragonistics cards and Attribute cards separately.

The Dragonistics Cards can be used with our free statistics lesson plans and mathematics and statistics learning activities and games. These can be downloaded from our site or included with your order.

Review comments from teachers

"Great resource, eye catching graphics that the boys were drawn to."
"I was really impressed with the detail and quality of the cards when I unwrapped them. They were easy for the students to become familiar with and work with as we went through the activities. The activities themselves are well planned and lead neatly into the each other, at the same time leading the students further into their exploration of statistics without feeling like it is hard work."
